And now fans of the interior designer-turned actress
have a chance to acquire one of her items at an estate sale in Clearwater,
Florida that began this week and runs through Saturday.
Alley’s associates tapped Those Two Girls Estate Sales, which specializes in handling projects ranging from hoarded houses to high-end affairs such as this,
to catalog and sell her belongings from her homes in Maine, California and Florida, according to a rep for the company.
The first phase of the sale is open for bidding through Wednesday and includes a wide selection of household
goods, table clothes, dresses, shoes, antiques, imported Italian pottery, lighting fixtures and furniture.
And if that’s not enough, the next part of the sale — which runs January 22 through February 4 — will feature more worldly home decor including some of her “favorite garden decor,”
per her rep, like statues and cast iron planters as well as salvaged objects like a Victorian bird cage.
Jewelry
The late Kirstie Alley made a name for herself as an interior designer and actress. Her impressive CV included Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Look Who’s Talking and her own sitcom Kirstie as well as a brief stint on Dancing With the Stars.
The Cheers and Veronica’s Closet actress died in 2022 from colon cancer. Her family has tasked local company Those Two Girls Estate Sales with selling off her belongings at an eclectic estate sale in Clearwater, Florida.
The first sale kicked off on December 21 and will run through January 7. It features a curated collection of items from her three homes including table wear, dresses, shoes, pottery and lighting. It will also include “her favorite garden decor and salvaged items,” like statues, cast iron planters, a Pre-Columbian artifact and salvaged copper dormers. Part two will launch on January 22 and end on February 4 featuring more worldly home goods. It will include a Third Empire chandelier with mermaid ornaments, Italian ceramics and a French oak kitchen table.
Pottery
Many of the table clothes, dresses, shoes and pottery from the late Cheers actress Kirstie Alley are up for grabs in Clearwater, Florida. The estate sale by local company Those Two Girls is cash only and began Wednesday. Alley died in 2022 at the age of 71. Hundreds of fans lined up to get their hands on her items. One such fan, Sophie Schiff, shared her initial scenes from the event on TikTok and it went viral.
A rep from the company told Fox 13 that one of Alley’s “friends slash employees” recommended them to her family for the sale. They are not acting like an auction as each item has been individually priced. Some of the items may look familiar to fans as some were featured in her 2010 A&E show titled Kirstie Alley’s Big Life. Lighting
The family of Kirstie Alley is sharing some of the late actress’s treasured belongings in a curated estate sale. The cash-only event runs through Saturday at 814 Cleveland St. in Clearwater (not the actress’s actual home, which has been sold). The estate sale is being managed by Those Two Girls Estate Sales.
Guests can shop for Alley’s personal effects, including household items, table clothes, dresses and shoes. The company’s representative says the collection is a reflection of her style, as she trained and worked as an interior designer before becoming an actress.
The sale will also include furniture, antiques, salvage items and more. Fans are already flocking to the estate sale, with thrifting duo Marisa and Sophie from Irving Road Vintages and Antiques sharing a TikTok of dozens of people waiting in line. The pair expect the lineup to grow even longer as the sale progresses.
